Cause for a Talent, Talent for a Cause

Hehehehehe.........

Catchy statement, diba?! Hindi naman ganun kahirap iyong meaning noong statement. It just goes like this:

"Ang mga tao'y nagkaisa para sa isang layong mapasama ang kanilang mga manok sa talent show sa mga magprepresent at mapaalis ang mga taong sa tingin nila'y hindi worth magpresent. Ang mga talents na nagpresent naman ay nagkaisa sa isang layong makakalap ng malaking halaga upang matulungan ang mga nangangailangan. :D "

Very clear, right?! I hope so!

The talent show yesterday, September 5, 2008, in the PSHS Multipurpose Gymnasium, was realy fun watching. It started off with a short introduction by Ms. F. Anda who organized this whole thing. The intro actually talked about some of the recent successes of the fundraising programs they had in which proceeds went to the needy people. After the intro, the program finally began with the floor managers Mam Liz and Sir Alfer. Anggaling nilang mag-host!!!! All in all, there were 10 performances - 5 student, and 5 teacher. I admit that what really made me excited were the teacher performances. I was a bit bored with the student performances especially from the third until the last (hindi kasi Batch 2010 eh) >.<.

Here's a roll of the student performance and what I think about them.

The first performance was by then K-band whose presentation was fun with their stories and jokes. Second was by Isabel Serrano. She has a really good voice. Third was by the Mongrel Band of Batch 2011. Fourth was by the fourth year band whose name I can't remember. I admit I didn't watch them since I went down at that time to exchange my chits with money. The last was by Adriel Cheng of Batch 2012.

Whew! Now, here's a roll of the teacher performances!!! :D

First was the English unit. Their number was really, REALLY fun watching. KUMANTA KASI SI SIR ARGHS!!!!!! :D Second was the Physics Unit. I can't say anything. They've got talent: singing + dancing ++++++++++++ WHISTLING (c/o SIR LIM!!! :D). Third was by a group of staff, teachers, and other faculty members who danced to the beat of ABBA songs. Whew! Sumayaw so MAM DOCTO!!! Fourth was by Mam Dacs and Sir Guce. Anggaling nila!!!! Last, but DEFINITELY not the least was the Math Unit. They did have a very short presentation (two minutes I think) but that short time was definitely worth it. The two minutes was filled with excitement and live action as seen in the students and the teacher presentors as well. Loud music, and strong dances. What could we ask more? Woohoo!! Nag-ala-gymnastics pa si Mam De Joya!!! :D

And that was my very, very happy end for the Humanities Week. I really hope that next year's Humanities Week would be more fun and less boring.
