Great Depression

Okay! So here's how I experienced much depression.

Last Sunday, October 16, 2008, I and my family went to SM Fairview to buy some stuffs, and to eat of course since I was with them. We were supposed to have merienda and we decided to have it in Greenwich. I really love pasta and pizza! Since I can manage, I ordered a Savory Beef and Mushroom Baked Rice Meal (52 pesos). My mother also ordered a family size Greenwich Special (250+ pesos). I really thought I would be full since 4 months before that day, I ordered something like the one stated above and I was full.

I was disappointed. The baked rice meal shrank to half. Four months ago, I can still have my whole spoon dipped in the bowl, but now, it only reached half. Also, the bowl only fitted its underplate unlike before, it exceeded in diameter the plate in it. Although, taste was still the same. :(

The pizza came, and I was again disappointed. It also shrank in diameter and after I ate three slices, I still lingered for more. :(

My disappointment was cancelled when we went to the supermarket. ANG DAMING FREE TASTE!! Kahit papaano, nabusog ako. We also bought this Fruit Salad Drink (30 pesos) and was really creamy and fruity. We also bought Oddballs and I really realized how long it was since I last tasted a real squidball.

I LOVE YOU FOOD

La Salle Experience

Basically, I went to La Salle with eight other people to join a contest. We were divided into three teams - each team comprising of 2 third years and 1 4th year.

----Okay!

Napakasaya ng aming usapan kasi ang aming topic ay ang aking good old friend - Lyndon Marcus B. Baluyot (I-Ruby, II-Sampaguita, III-Strontium). Siya ang taong magpapatunay sa iyo that "First impressions do never last!!" :D (PEACE, LYNDON!).

Which Pokemon are You?

I am a Togetic!

Ok? Didn'expect? Pero okay lang!

Pokemon. Favorite na legendary is Dialga. Ang gandang pagmasdan!

Sabado de Pasyon

TAE!!!!

This is what I did this Saturday:

-Morning Chemistry
Instructor: Mr. J. Andaya
Topics: Chemical Kinetics, Chemical Equilibria, Organic Chemistry
Absorbed: 75%
My Thoughts: Okay, topics are not that boring, and are interesting if you have a great instructor. :D

-Afternoon Physics
Instructor: Mrs. H. Caintic
Topics: Electrostatics
Absorbed: 50%
My Thoughts: Topic is fine - parang physics ngayon applied to charged particles.

Ang daming stuff at nagpapasalamat ako kina Almira, Vince, Cleo, Mik, at JM na sinamahan ako nung break time to ease out information overload.

Some Idleness

Last weekend, our family went to the province Cagayan to visit our dead relatives. It was a round trip, and we hardly had 24 hours in staying. We left Manila on Friday night (10 pm), arrived by 12 nn, left the province by Sunday (11 am) and arrived in Manila by Monday (4 am). The trip, of course, was very boring, and it really gave me time to think up of things, and reconsidering their presence. Here's what I did in spending my travel time:

1. Nephological Studies

Nephology is the study of clouds, and yah, I spent at least an hour looking at the clouds, thinking up of their shapes, and placing scenes. I was also amazed when I saw fluffy clouds lined together, as if forming a definite structure.

2. Star Gazing

When the night struck, I found time looking at the stars, and fortunately, our return trip entailed traversing Nueva Vizcaya during the evening. Nueva Vizcaya contained the mountainous roads on way to our province, and viewing stars from mountains high was really amazing.

3. Mathematics

Do you remember Burger Machine? How about Minute Burger? These were stalls that once populated Manila and served my hungry stomach. Well, the province have their own versions - Franks, and BigMak. I really had fun counting these stall for each town or city. In fact, these 2 stalls always go side by side in each town as if they do not care about competition whatsoever.

4. Thinking Up Stories

I also used this travel time in thinking up plots for my short story for Fil 3. I used what I was observing as we travel across the countryside - the farmers, etc. Unfortunately, I barely had any idea on what to write.

5. Organic Chemistry

Serious na ito!! I had no choice but study for the Chem. problem set and long test in the province. Fortunately, I was able to do since I had many matters to attend to. For one I went to my cousin's house, watched some horror movies, and talked with him on new stories.
